This evening I went to the Heart FM Lifestyle Awards as a guest judge, having sat through a highly entertaining day, listening to the trials and tribulations of what it is to be a mystery shopper! Heart FM launched their inaugural awards to celebrate and recognise excellence throughout the East Midlands. Winners were being selected in a range of categories including Best Hotel, Bar, Restaurant, Interior Design service, Hair Dresser and of course, from my perspective - shop! I did feel rather sorry for the mystery shopper who was ‘testing’ 5 different hairdressers, as she used to have beautiful long brown hair, which is now short and blonde!! Maybe we need to re-think the judgeing process for next year! Sitting with me was fitness guru, Rosemary Conley - and she was quite amazing. Not only did she look stunning, but her energy, passion and commitment to her own business was phenomenal.  And she must be 60 - looking at least 10 years younger. I am a committed fan!

I’m so excited, because today, all of the work that I have been doing over the last two years has come together and culminated in the launch of my exciting ‘Naked Ambition’ brand. I have written a series of personal development programmes, that will fundamentally give you the tools to ‘step up’ and ‘earn more money’.

Put simply, I believe in the statement ‘change your clothes, earn more’!

And I have some amazing (and brave) clients to prove it. I’ve been thrilled by the feedback from so many people who have confirmed what I knew to be true – that concentrating on their image, can improve their confidence and self-esteem, which in turn allows them to go for promotion and ultimately, earn more money.

My favourite success for today is a lady who came to see me as a size 16, lacking in self confidence, but extremely good at her job. 12 months later, she is a size 10 and just been offered a VP job in America with her company! In her own words ‘spending time with Pippa had a very positive impact on me, I have far more confidence and doubt I’d be considered for a move to the US, if I hadn’t had the sessions’.

Fantastic!

2008 is going to be an exciting year for me in more ways than one!

This is the year when I develop & evolve my image consultancy, so that I can provide a range of corporate training programmes that will allow people to maximise their potential at work.  I am going to run the Robin Hood marathon in Nottingham and I am turing 40 !
